Sailor

Today I went for a "Sailor look". A striped shirt (the usual), cuffed pants, and leather vans. My shirt and pants are from Hollister.

Hollister is a "SoCal" based brand, meaning most of their clothes are beach clothes or are beach related. So if you're going for a more laid back "surfer" look, then Hollister is the brand for you. They have everything from sweaters to slippers. Their stores setup is super cool. You'll actually forget that you're at the mall when you're in there (trust me, its happened to me a couple of times).

On Nicci is an outfit by H&M. A gray top and dark blue pants with little gold hearts on it. She got this outfit last year at the opening of H&M at MegaMall. These two brands are, in my opinion, the best brands in the world. So if ever you have trouble trying to find me something for my birthday... You know where to look. Haha just kidding.

Matchy-Matchy

Nicci and I decided to match. She chose her outfit and my shirt, I take no credit for this outfit post.

Today I wore a khaki pocket tee from Cotton On. I got this shirt in Santa Cruz about two years ago, when I started obsessing over the simplicity and awesomeness of pocket tees. I love the Aztec-tribal pattern on the pocket, that's one thing that caught my eye while I was in Cotton On. I'm wearing my favorite pair of skinny jeans from KR3W and my black Nike Roshe Runs.

Nicci is wearing one of her favorite dresses from Sea Otter and The Starfish, with a pair of jeggings that match perfectly. Her slippers are from Australia.

Maroon

Today I decided to wear another set of H&M clothes because why not? Plus I felt like being matchy-matchy. So here goes nothing.

I'm wearing my striped maroon and white shirt from H&M. You can't see, but it has little white spots that look like splattered paint on it. It's one of my favorite shirts. Like I said before, I have a thing for stripes. More than half of my shirts are striped, so you'll see me in stripes more often than not. My maroon shorts are also from H&M. I've had this outfit for a year and it, surprisingly, still fits me. That just shows that when your mom tells you to get your clothes a little bigger than they should be, you should listen. Let's move on to my shoes. I'm wearing my favorite pair of vans. Classy shoes that can be worn casually. They're leather, light brown and outlined in dark blue. I guess you can say this is my "Go-to outfit". When we're in a rush to go somewhere and I have no idea what to wear i usually just throw this on.

Something New

In my opinion, style is a big part of a teens life. It's a way of expressing yourself. So from now on I'll have a column specifically for style.

I'll start my Style section off with a whole set of clothes from H&M, because it's been one of my favorite stores for a while. Joggers! They are super comfortable and you can where them WHENEVER you want. You can wear them to the mall, to sleep, to movies, pretty much everywhere because they're "in" right now. They're not too skinny and not too loose. I've grown to love them. Let's move onto my shirt, another one from H&M. It's a bit oversized, I usually get them oversized because they last longer that way. I chose this shirt because I love the stripe-like-tribal pattern it has going on (I have a thing for striped and tribal shirts). It is, like all H&M clothes, uber comfy. My shoes are Roshes, from Nike. The most comfortable shoes I've ever had. They come in practically every color.

Nicci! My sister is by far one of the most stylish little girls I know. She's wearing a tribal shirt from Forever 21 and gold pants from H&M. Her black polka dot boots are from Sugar Kids.
